Ok, so the Falcons lost.
The world now knows this. I now will be rooting for the Ravens along with the rest of my classmates, most of whom are from Maryland. I was hoping for the Falcons to beat the 49ers, but due to some poorly timed timeouts, the Niners ran the clock in the last minute.
This was frustrating to watch, since the game was so close. However, we all know that the Falcons is a wonderful team. A football powerhouse backed by some stellar fans. Perhaps, the Falcons will make it to the super bowl next year. In the meantime, don't give up. Keep cheering on your local team and keeping rising up Falcons to the occasion!
Despite the loss, i am so happy that I got to attend the NFC championship game. It was a special, once in a lifetime event and I am ever grateful that I got to attend.
Last Sunday was such a busy day for me. After the game, my dad and I went to the midnight showing of Zero Dark Thirty. Now that is a serious film. Jessica Chastain gave a Oscar worthy performance with her die-hard perseverance to find Bin Laden. It is a completely different role from her ditzy role in the Help. I like her versatility in the roles that she can play. My dad and I had the entire theater to ourselves and we didn't get home until about 3 am. This resulted in about 6 hours of sleep before I had to go on a plane to Maryland to go back to school.
Whoopee!
